Big Alert: Blaze Breaks Out in Residential Tower, Residents Evacuated Safely

A major fire broke out in a high-rise residential building in a densely populated housing complex, where multiple floors—reportedly up to five to six—were engulfed in flames. The fire quickly spread from lower to upper floors, reaching as high as the 9th–10th floors, causing panic among residents. Fortunately, due to timely evacuation efforts by authorities and residents, no loss of life has been reported so far. All occupants were safely rescued from the building, which is considered a major relief. Around 10–12 fire tenders were deployed at the scene, and firefighting operations continued to bring the blaze under control. Residents confirmed that the fire may have started around 8:30 PM, though the exact cause is still unknown. While the fire caused significant property damage, the absence of casualties is being highlighted as the biggest relief. However, concerns were raised about emergency response speed and urban infrastructure challenges in managing such incidents in high-rise buildings.
