Bahraich News: Demand to Ban Fair at Syed Salar Masud Ghazi’s Dargah After Sambhal Controversy

After the controversy over the Neja Mela in Sambhal, Hindu organizations in Bahraich have now demanded a ban on the Jeth Mela held at the dargah of Syed Salar Masud Ghazi. On Wednesday, Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) officials submitted a memorandum addressed to the District Magistrate, urging the authorities to impose strict restrictions on the event.The VHP leaders warned that if the fair is not banned, they will launch a protest. The demand has stirred fresh tensions in the region, with authorities closely monitoring the situation. The Jeth Mela has been a traditional gathering at the dargah, but the call for a ban has sparked political and religious debates.
