Army Chief General Naravane to visit Ladakh today amid tensions with China

Army Chief General Manoj Mukund Narwane will visit Ladakh on Tuesday and Wednesday and discuss with the commanders stationed there on the six-week standoff with the Chinese Army. Military sources said that the army chief would visit the advance areas and negotiate with the troops stationed there. The visit of General Naravane comes a week after 20 Indian soldiers were martyred in conflict with Chinese troops in the Galwan Valley and escalating tensions at the border.
