Akhilesh Yadav on Yogi Adityanath contesting from Gorakhpur: 'BJP Has Sent Him Home'
Samajwadi Party leader Akhilesh Yadav lashed out at Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Saturday, just minutes after the BJP announced that he would run in next month's election from his stronghold of Gorakhpur. He said that the Samajwadi Party will win the assembly elections as well as the Gorakhpur seat. According to the BJP's Uttar Pradesh in-charge, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath would contest for the Gorakhpur Assembly seat in the next state elections. During a news conference, Dharmendra Pradhan also revealed that Deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya will contest for the Siratu Assembly seat.
