ABP Shikhar Sammelan 2024: How Much Has UP Transformed Under BJP's Government? Insights from CM Yogi

In the midst of the Uttar Pradesh by-elections, ABP News has launched a special program titled "Shikhar Sammelan." This event will feature prominent leaders, including Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Deputy CM Brajesh Pathak, Cabinet Ministers OP Rajbhar and Sanjay Nishad, as well as Samajwadi Party Chief Akhilesh Yadav, who will address pressing ground-level and political issues concerning Uttar Pradesh. The summit will also see participation from SP spokesperson Anurag Bhadoria, BJP spokesperson Rakesh Tripathi, Nagina MP Chandrashekhar, Women's Commission Vice-Chairperson Aparna Yadav, Deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya, UP BJP Chief Bhupendra Chaudhary, BJP MLAs Aditi Singh and Juhi Singh, along with Pallavi Patel, a leader from the Apna Dal (Kamerawadi). During the event, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath emphasized that job opportunities are being provided without discrimination. He noted that the government has increased employment prospects in both the private and public sectors. Previously, investors were reluctant to invest in Uttar Pradesh. CM Adityanath launched a verbal attack on the Samajwadi Party, stating that seven and a half years ago, Uttar Pradesh faced an identity crisis, and the situation was dire. He asserted that the state's condition has transformed significantly since then. According to him, Uttar Pradesh is now free from riots and lawlessness. The Chief Minister highlighted the ongoing construction of homes for the poor on land previously owned by criminals in Prayagraj. He stated that the government is connecting people to jobs through MSME initiatives and the One District One Product (ODOP) scheme. Referring to the COVID-19 period, CM Adityanath mentioned that the government ensured no worker returned empty-handed. He claimed that in the past, joblessness and lawlessness prevailed due to mafia influence in politics. However, he stated that his administration has delivered on its promises, resulting in a violence-free state. Adityanath concluded that investment is now flowing into Uttar Pradesh, a stark contrast to the past when no one wanted to come to the state.
