Gopal Rai, a Delhi minister and AAP leader, declared that the Aam Aadmi Party would hold a collective fast at Jantar Mantar on April 7 to denounce the detention of Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal, who was incarcerated in Tihar Jail until April 15 in connection with a money-laundering case related to a liquor excise policy scandal. Rai stated during a press briefing in the capital that all AAP ministers, MLAs, MPs, and party leaders would participate in the fasting demonstration.
