Fake Indian currency of Pak-origin seized at Mumbai airport

Very high quality fake Indian Currency Notes (FICN) worth Rs 23.86 lakh (in Rs 2,000 denomination) originating from Pakistan, was intercepted from a 36-year-old man on his arrival at the Chhatrapati Shivaji international International Airport on Sunday.
During interrogation, the accused told the police that the fake notes are routed from Pakistan via Dubai. ''The crime branch suspects that these notes fake notes could be used for terror funding,'' added the official.
The high-quality Indian currency notes were of Rs 2000 denomination with the total value of around Rs 24 Lakhs.
