Delhi Election 2025: Swati Maliwal Dumps Garbage Outside Kejriwal's House, Detained by Police

Swati Maliwal, a Member of Parliament from the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), today targeted Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal over the issue of cleanliness in Delhi. Maliwal went to Kejriwal's residence with a pile of garbage, which she dumped outside his house as a protest. She claimed that she had visited the Vikas Puri area first, where she collected waste with local residents, and then brought it to Kejriwal's residence to highlight the city's worsening cleanliness situation. Following the protest, Delhi Police detained Maliwal. Tensions escalated as supporters of Maliwal clashed with the police. Maliwal criticized Kejriwal, saying that Delhi has turned into a garbage dump. Meanwhile, Youth Congress also staged a protest outside Kejriwal’s residence regarding pollution in the Yamuna River.
