Crime Patrol to go off air?

Crime Patrol will no longer air on Sony TV. Optimistic Production House, which used to produce the show, has announced that they won't be shooting any new episodes of the show. Is Salman Khan Production's upcoming show Special Operations Team the reason behind this?
