Delhi Election Result LIVE: Arvind Kejriwal Heading Towards Defeat in New Delhi Seat?

In the initial trends of the Delhi Assembly elections, the BJP has gained a significant lead, securing 42 seats, while the AAP lags behind with 27. Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and Deputy CM Manish Sisodia maintain a narrow lead in their constituencies, while Atishi is trailing in Kalkaji. Congress has yet to open its account. With counting still underway, the contest remains intense, especially in 12 seats where the margin is under 1,000 votes. Kejriwal faces a tough battle in the New Delhi constituency, and a possible defeat could escalate pressure on him. BJP’s success is being credited to PM Modi’s leadership, as the party has made inroads even in Muslim-majority areas like Mustafabad and Okhla. The BJP’s growing influence among middle-class voters and AAP’s declining grip in key areas are shaping the electoral battle. The final results will determine the political fate of Delhi.
