Demand for Sidhu's resignation likely during Cabinet meet

Punjab Minister Navjot Singh Sidhu has landed himself in trouble over his jibe at Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amrinder Singh, as more state ministers on Sunday condemned Sidhu over his remarks and demanded his apology to the chief minister, saying "learn how to respect elders", even as the former cricketer's wife said his statement was being twisted and taken out of context.

The matter is also likely to dominate Punjab Cabinet meet which is set to take place on Monday. As per sources, Sidhu’s resignation could also be sought during this meeting.
