CBI also investigating trail of payments in foreign companies: CBI sources

ormer Finance Minister P Chidambaram, who was arrested by the CBI Wednesday night from his residence in connection with INX media corruption case amid high drama, was produced in a special CBI court in Delhi this afternoon. A team of four senior lawyers - Kapil Sibal, Vivek Tankha, Abhishek Manu Singhvi along with his wife Nalini and son Karti were already present in the court before his arrival.
According to CBI sources,  CBI is also investigating the trail of payments in several companies abroad and letter of Rogatory (LR) have been sent to the concerned countries.
