The current physical distancing guidelines of two metres may be insufficient to prevent COVID-19 transmission, according to a new study. It says that even with a slight breeze of about four kilometres per hour, saliva travels 18 feet in 5 seconds. Therefore, if the speed of wind is around four kilometres per hour then it's recommended that people stay at least six metres apart for coronavirus social distancing.
