The rains in Madhya Pradesh have dashed the hopes of farmers who were already suffering because of the Covid-19 crisis. The storm, rain and hailstorm have further worsened their conditions. After tireless hard work of six consecutive months, the wheat crops have been destroyed because of bad weather conditions. The farmers have asked the state government for assistance and compensation.
