Asia Has World's Best 3 Airports – Singapore, Doha, And Tokyo Lead 2025 Skytrax Rankings
Singapore Changi, Doha's Hamad, and Tokyo Haneda top the Skytrax 2025 list of world's best airports, showcasing Asia's excellence in travel experience, dining, cleanliness, and accessibility.

Asia has once again cemented its place at the top of global aviation as Singapore Changi Airport was named the World’s Best Airport for 2025 at the prestigious Skytrax World Airport Awards, held during the Passenger Terminal EXPO in Madrid.
The recognition marks the 13th time Singapore Changi Airport has claimed the coveted title, awarded by UK-based aviation rating platform Skytrax. The airport also earned accolades for the World's Best Airport Dining, World's Best Airport Washrooms, and Best Airport in Asia.
Yam Kum Weng, the CEO of Changi Airport Group, expressed gratitude for the honour. "As air travel continues to grow, we look forward to welcoming passengers to experience the magic at Changi Airport," he said. He also extended thanks to both the airport community and passengers: "It was gratifying to receive this recognition, and it would encourage them to strive towards providing the best travel experience."
Following closely behind was Qatar’s Hamad International Airport in Doha, which claimed second place. A former three-time winner of the World’s Best Airport award, Hamad was also recognised as offering the World’s Best Airport Shopping and was named the Best Airport in the Middle East.

Japan's Tokyo International Airport (Haneda) ranked third but led in several other key categories, including World’s Cleanest Airport (Major Airport), World’s Best Domestic Airport, and World’s Best Airport PRM and Accessible Facilities. With over 70 million travelers passing through its terminals, Tokyo Haneda also led in passenger handling worldwide, followed by Singapore Changi (60–70 million passengers) and Hamad International (50–60 million).
With Asia claiming six of the top ten spots, the continent continues to set the gold standard in global air travel—offering world-class efficiency, cleanliness, and customer experience.
