Google Pixel 8 Series To Get Circle To Search Feature


The latest feature drop from Google brings the Circle to Search feature, initially seen on Samsung's Galaxy S24 line. The feature is coming to both the Pixel 8 and 8 Pro models. Google has specified that Circle to Search will be activated on January 31, coinciding with the release date of Samsung's S24 lineup. This feature allows users to highlight anything on their phone screen with a long press of the home button or navigation bar, prompting Google to provide additional information about the selected content.


Samsung Galaxy S24 Series Available On Blinkit In These Cities


On In the wake of high demand for Samsung's newest flagship phones, Blinkit, the quick delivery app, has announced it has started selling the Samsung Galaxy S24 series devices on its platform. Albinder Dhindsa, Blinkit's Founder, made the announcement on X (formerly Twitter). When purchasing the Galaxy S24 series through Blinkit, prospective buyers  can enjoy an immediate cashback of Rs 5,000 when using HDFC Bank credit cards for the transaction. Residents of Delhi-NCR, Mumbai and Bengaluru can order the lineup and get it at their doorstep in 10 minutes.


Google Pixel 8 Launched In A New Mint Colour


Google had unveiled the Pixel 8 and 8 Pro smartphones in October last year. The Pixel 8 was originally unveiled in Obsidian, Hazel and Rose colours while the Pixel 8 Pro was introduced in Obsidian, Bay and Porcelain colours. Now, a new "Mint" colour has now been officially introduced, following a cryptic teaser with the caption "Fresh year, fresh drop."

Microsoft Is Laying Off 1,900 People


Microsoft is reducing the size of its gaming teams by laying off 1900 employees, the media has reported. In an email shared with Windows Central by an anonymous source, Microsoft Gaming CEO Phil Spencer confirmed that these job cuts, amounting to 1900 out of the existing 22,000, aim to establish a "sustainable cost structure."
