Liverpool legend Mohammad Salah pens down a new deal with the club, which extends his stay till 2027. With the decision, the 'Enyptian King' brings an end to all the transfer speculations, and potential target clubs, as his deal was set to expire at the end of this season.

The contract renewal now hands Mohammad Salah a chance of completing 10 years at the club, who joined the side from Serie A outfit AS Roma back in the summer transfer window of 2017.

"Of course I’m very excited. We have a great team now. Before also we had a great team. But I signed because I think we have a chance to win other trophies and enjoy my football. It’s great, I had my best years here. I played eight years, hopefully it’s going to be 10. Enjoying my life here, enjoying my football. I had the best years in my career," said Mohammad Salah, in an exclusive interview with Liverpool.

"I would like to say to [the fans], I am very, very happy to be here. I signed here because I believe we can win a lot of big trophies together. Keep supporting us and we’ll give it our best, and hopefully in the future we’re going to win more trophies," he added.

Mohammad Salah's Tremendous 2024/25 Season

Mohammad Salah has been in prolific form this season for Liverpool, as he is currently leading the race for Premier League Golden Boot with 27 goals.

However, the winger has drawn heavy criticism from experts and fans, as his form has been questionable in matches where his side needed him the most.

Salah failed to score or assist in both the legs against PSG in the UEFA Champions League Round of 16 fixture, as Liverpool crashed out of the tournament on penalties.
