Lionel Messi At Super Bowl: Lionel Messi is set to make an appearance at the Super Bowl 2025, and upon learning this news, Kansas City Chiefs Quarter-Back, Patrick Mahomes, had a wholesome reaction.
The NFL Superstar, during an interview, was asked about his feelings of having someone like Lionel Messi watch him play. To this, Patrick Mahomes had a wholesome reply, stating that the quarter-back wants to be 'on the same level as that of Lionel Messo one day', and that, he 'wants to showcase his talent' to the Inter Miami forward.
"Lionel Messi will attend the game on Sunday. What does it mean having him watching you play?" asked the reporter.
"Yeah, I mean just like any other sport, to have someone like that, the G.O.A.T. of his profession, to have at the game would be awesome. I get to showcase who I am and what talent that I have," said Patrick Mahomes.
"So I got to watch him when he played in Kansas City, I think it was last year... And he had two goals in that game. And you see the greatness, the greatness that he displays every single day. And so [he’s] someone else that I can look up to and try to get to his level someday," he added.

Does Lionel Messi's Schedule Allow Him To Be At Super Bowl?
It will be interesting to see if Lionel Messi manages to appear at the Super Bowl, with him having a pre-season friendly vs Honduras a night before the mega event.
The teams, who are on-road for friendly games, are making an immendiate return post-fixture. Therefore, Lionel Messi will either not play the entire 90 minutes, or will be encountering fatigue issues, as the new MLS Season is starting this month.
