Who Is Himanshu Sangwan?: Virat Kohli’s return to the Ranji Trophy after a long gap of 12 years was far from ideal, as the star batter was clean-bowled for just 6 runs by Himanshu Sangwan.

Who Is Himanshu Sangwan?: Himanshu Sangwan replicated what Pat Cummins did on the November 19 night in 2023 when he silenced the a packed Narendra Modi Stadium crowd by dismissing Virat Kohli in the ICC World Cup 2023 final. Though the stage and crowd were smaller, Himanshu Sangwan, an Indian domestic circuit bowler, managed to get the better of Kohli on Day 2 of the Ranji Trophy match between Delhi and Railways at the Arun Jaitley Stadium on Friday, stunning the thousands of fans who had gathered to watch Kohli bat.
Kohli marked his return to the Ranji Trophy after a long gap of 12 years, filling the occasion with hype and excitement. However, his comeback was far from ideal, as the star batter was clean-bowled for just 6 runs in the first innings on Day 2. Railways' right-arm pacer Himanshu Sangwan was the one to dismiss Kohli.
Sangwan had been hit for a confident straight drive by Kohli on the third ball of Delhi's 28th over. However, on the very next delivery, Sangwan bowled a stunning ball that breached the defence of the Indian legend, sending him back to the pavilion and rendering the crowd mute.
