The Indian team will face England in IND vs ENG 2nd ODI in Cuttack on Sunday, February 9. Ahead of the match, several Indian players visited the Jagannath Temple in Puri to seek blessings.
Having secured a four-wicket win in the series opener in Nagpur, India will look to continue its winning momentum and seal the three-match ODI series 2-0.
Indian Players Visit Jagannath Temple
Cricketers Varun Chakravarthy, Washington Sundar, and Axar Patel were spotted at the Jagannath Temple, offering prayers before IND vs ENG 2nd ODI match.
With heavy security arrangements in place, the players reached the sanctum through the Beherana Gate, where they paid respects to Lord Jagannath, Lord Balabhadra, and Goddess Subhadra. A video of their visit has since gone viral on social media.
"The darshan was very good," Washington Sundar was quoted as saying by PTI.

While Washington Sundar and Varun Chakravarthy did not play in the opening ODI, Axar Patel played a key role in India's win.
His match-winning half-century and the key wicket of England captain Jos Buttler highlighted his growing stature as a dependable all-rounder. India will once again rely on him to deliver in the remaining two ODI matches.
India aims to seal IND vs ENG three-match ODI series 2-0
India currently leads the three-match India vs England One-Day-International series 1-0 after a four-wicket victory in the first ODI at Nagpur's Vidarbha Cricket Association Stadium on February 6.
With IND vs ENG 2nd ODI match in Cuttack, England will be eager to level the series, while India will aim to clinch the series with another fiery performance.
