Indian Cricket Team captain Rohit Sharma, and all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja have shared and recalled some 'ICC Mega Event' memories in a latest video released by Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Tuesday, February 18.
In the video, the duo recall their past appearances at ICC events, and to much of the surprise, many Indian players such as Shubman Gill failed to recall World Test Championship in their appearances list.
Team India headed out for a 'headshot' photoshoot ahead of their ICC Champions Trophy 2025 campaign, with the side playing their opening match against Bangladesh on Thursday, February 20, at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium in Dubai.
When asked how many ICC Media Days Rohit appeared in, the Indian skipper, in his typical fashion, 'forgot' to count World Test Championship Final of 2021 & 2023 in his appearances.
"Ye 15th hai mera. 9 to T20 World Cup hai, 3 50-over World Cup, aur 2 Champions Trophy, 14.., aur ye 15th. Nahi, World Test Championship bhi hai na, uska 2, to 17 baar bulaya hai unhone ye sab krne (English translation: I guess I have played 15, and that includes 9 T20 World Cups, 3 50-over World Cups, and 2 Champions Trophy tournaments. Sorry I forgot to add 2 World Test Championships, that makes it 17)," said Rohit Sharma.
Answering the same question, Ravindra Jadeja revealed the tournaments he missed out on. "2007 and 2012 I didn't play," said Jadeja.

India are grouped alongside Pakistan, New Zealand, and Bangladesh in their ICC Champions Trophy 2025 campaign, and only top two teams from each group will qualify for the semi-finals.
Therefore, even a single loss will become a huge factor in determining the qualification status of participating sides.
