Rajneesh Gurbani's insane outswinger against West Indies A grabs everyone's attention

Remember Rajneesh Gurbani? The Vidarbha seamer who got everyone awestruck with his country mile swing and had Delhi in a fix by claiming a hat-trick in this year’s Ranji Trophy final is at it again.

Remember Rajneesh Gurbani? The Vidarbha seamer who got everyone awestruck with his country mile swing and had Delhi in a fix by claiming a hat-trick in this year’s Ranji Trophy final is at it again.

He did not claim a hat-trick nor did pick a bag full of wickets representing India A against West Indies A in the second unofficial four-day game at Taunton. But he produced a delivery that can fit into the definition of a Jaffa, at least that’s what Somerset County thinks.

Gurbani produced a magnificent delivery to a well-settled West Indies A captain Shamarh Brooks in the 34th over that gave an account of his ability to make the red ball talk.

Gurabni’s delivery, which pitched on middle and swung away was almost too good to even take the outside edge. Not only the batsman, India A keeper Rishabh Pant too had his fair share of difficulties in collecting the ball as it swung even more after going the past the bat.

India’s Mohammad Siraj picked up four wickets, helping India A bowl out West Indies for 302 in the first innings. Gurbani too played his part, picking up the first wicket of the day getting West Indies wicket-keeper Thomas caught for 27.
