Both the countries are crazy about the sport and with no bilateral cricket between the two countries, they only get to compete against each other in the ICC events. Naturally there was a lot of buzz about their face off at the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium, New York in T20 World Cup 2024.

However, the love for the game and a bid to make the most of the noise around the IND vs PAK T20 World Cup 2024 fixture turned fatal for a YouTube content creator. Several media reports from Pakistan reported that Saad Ahmed, a YouTuber, went to a mobile market and was asking questions related to the IND vs Pakistan fixture to several shopkeepers.

When Saad Ahmed approached a security guard, he ended up irritating the guard with his question on IND vs PAK who in turn shot him dead. GeoTV report shows one of Saad's friend claiming that he was the sole breadwinner in the family.
