Bumrah At Coldplay Concert: Jasprit Bumrah, the number one Test bowler in the world, delighted fans with an appearance at the Coldplay's final concert in India on January 26 (Sunday), at the Narendra Modi Stadium in his hometown, Ahmedabad. Currently sidelined from the cricketing action due to a back injury, Bumrah was spotted enjoying the event. Chris Martin, the lead singer of the world-famous British rock band, made the occasion even more special as he dedicated a special song for the fan-favourite, Bumrah.

Performing to a packed crowd at the Narendra Modi Stadium, Martin acknowledged Bumrah's presence amongst a sea of fans. The 31-year-old cricketer was all smiles as Martin praised him and sang a personalized song in his honor.

"O Jasprit Bumrah, my beautiful brother. The best bowler in the whole of cricket. We did not enjoy watching you destroy England, wicket after wicket," Martin sang on stage for the Indian pacer.

A viral photo on social media also shows a Jasprit Bumrah Test jersey on stage as Martin and the band performed in Ahmedabad, highlighting the Indian cricketer’s fame amongst not just fans but also international celebrities.

Interestingly, this wasn’t the first time Coldplay mentioned Bumrah during their concerts in India. At their Mumbai show, the band showcased a video of Bumrah dismantling England’s batting lineup during the 2024 India vs England Test series. Chris Martin also honored the pacer by calling him "No. 1 in the world," a gesture that Bumrah gratefully acknowledged on social media.
