India became the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 winners as Rohit Sharma & co. beat New Zealand by four wickets in a thrilling Champions Trophy final at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium on March 9 (Sunday). With the win, India clinched their third Champions Trophy title and seventh ICC title.

After being put in to bowl first, India spinners Varun Chakaravarthy and Kuldeep Yadav restricted the Kiwis to 251-7 in 50 overs. Chasing a target of 252, India got off to a flying start with Rohit Sharma notching up his first half-century of the tournament, while KL Rahul’s unbeaten 34 ensured the team crossed the finish line with six balls to spare. Rohit, who top-scored with 76, was deservedly named Player of the Match.
