He explained, "Even God advised Arjun to practice with unwavering focus. If someone has never held a gun before, will chanting mantras alone help them hit the target? Cricket is played on the field, and relying solely on havans is meaningless."

India eyes redemption for 2017 Final loss
India will also have redemption on its mind as it takes on Pakistan, looking to erase the painful memories of the 2017 Champions Trophy final, where they suffered a 180-run defeat.
Since that defeat, India has dominated Pakistan in this format, winning five consecutive ODI encounters. However, Pakistan holds an overall edge in ODIs and has won three of the five Champions Trophy clashes between the two sides.
India and Pakistan have clashed five times in Champions Trophy history, with Pakistan leading the head-to-head record 3-2.
Pakistan secured a three-wicket victory in 2004, followed by a 54-run win in 2009. India responded strongly in 2013 with an eight-wicket win. In the 2017 edition, India dominated the group stage with a 124-run win, but Pakistan had the last laugh in the final, securing the title with a thumping 180-run victory.
