IND vs NZ, CHampions Trophy 2025: India's top-order woes continued against New Zealand as Shubman Gill, the Indian team captain Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli lost their wickets in quick successions after New Zealand won the toss and opted to bowl first in the last group-stage match of the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium, Dubai on March 2 (Sunday). While the IND vs NZ match of the Champions Trophy 2025 is a dead-rubber owing to the reason that both New Zealand and India have already qualify for the semifinals, the match will decide which team will face which opponent in the semifinals.

While Indian openers Gill and Rohit fell to straightforward dismissals—LBW and caught out—Virat Kohli was dismissed by a stunning one-handed catch from New Zealand’s Glenn Phillips.
