Cricketer Nitish Rana and wife Sachi Marwah have been blessed with twins, as the couple announces the arrival of the newborns via a heartfelt joint-post shared on Instagram, on Monday, June 16.

The twins were born on June 14, as revealed in the post, and the couple now welcome new members in their home 6 years after their marriage.

"From our Forever tattoos to twins Boys — plot twist we didn’t see coming. Same date. (14.06.25) Same us. Just two tiny humans added," wrote the couple on their Instagram post.

The news triggered an outpouring of warm wishes from both their inner circle and cricketing peers. Notably, Sakshi Pant, sister of cricketer Rishabh Pant, commented:

"Congratulations on the arrival of our little bundle of joy. I promise to be the kind of bua every kid dreams of."

Several other cricketers including Venkatesh Iyer, Rahul Tewatia, Ramandeep Singh, Yudhvir Singh Charak, and Piyush Chawla, along with the Rajasthan Royals team, also extended heartfelt congratulations.

Saachi Marwah is known not only as Nitish’s partner but also for her career as a professional interior designer, and her connection within the entertainment world — she is a cousin of comedian Krushna Abhishek.

Nitish Rana is coming off a forgettable IPL 2025 season with Rajasthan Royals, as the side succumbed to a 9th place finish with only 4 wins to their name.

Apart from his blistering 81-run knock off 36 balls against Chennai Super Kings in Match 11, alongside his 51-run knock off 28 balls against Delhi Capitals in Match 32, Nitish Rana failed to cross the 30-run mark even once.

His season ended with only 217 runs in 11 innings, which though ended with an impressive strike-rate of 161.94.
