The Pakistan Super League's sixth season resumed on June 9. On Friday, Quetta Gladiators played against Islamabad United. Quetta scored 133 runs in the first innings. But courtesy of Colin Munro's super-fast 90*, Islamabad chased the target down in just 10 overs. The overseas batting pair of Usman Khawaja and Munro piled on 137 runs for the first wicket.

Munro was adjudged Man of the match for his solid batting performance. He said: " I think we assessed the conditions well. The wicket today got better and it was a good toss to win. In the first game, we didn't give ourselves the time to build an innings. The ball did get wetter later on and that allowed it to skid on. We definitely had the better batting conditions."
