Can Lord Jagannath's Idol Be Kept At Home?

Yes, one can keep Lord Jagannath's idol at home, but certain guidelines should be followed. The idol should be placed in a central or prominent location, not tucked away in a corner. Ideally, it should be placed in a dedicated worship area or prayer room.

For home worship, the idol should be adorned with flowers and smeared with sandalwood paste. Offer flowers (pushpanjali) with devotion and avoid touching the idol with unclean hands.
