A Grilled Paneer Tortilla Wrap is the perfect fusion of flavours, blending the smoky richness of grilled paneer with the crisp freshness of crunchy veggies, all wrapped in a soft, warm tortilla. The paneer is marinated in a flavourful mix of aromatic Indian spices and creamy yogurt, allowing the spices to infuse deep into the cubes. Grilled to perfection, the paneer becomes charred on the outside while remaining soft and tender on the inside. Paired with vibrant veggies, this wrap is a satisfying, delicious meal.
Ingredients
- 200 Gram Paneer
- 1 Teaspoon Red Chilli Powder
- 1.4 Teaspoon Turmeric Powder
- 1 Teaspoon Coriander Powder
- 1.5 Teaspoon Cumin Powder
- 1.5 Teaspoon Garam Masala
- 1 Tablespoon Lemon Juice
- 2 Tablespoon Yogurt
- 1 Tablespoon Oil
- 4 Piece Tortilla Wraps
- 4 Piece Lettuce Leaves
- 4 Tablespoon Mayonnaise or Hung Curd
- 2 Tablespoon Mint Chutney or Chilli Sauce
- Shredded Cheese
- Chopped Veggies Of Choice
Cooking Instructions
Marination: In a bowl, mix yogurt, red chilli powder, turmeric, coriander powder, cumin powder, garam masala, lemon juice, and salt to create a marinade. Add paneer strips and coat them well with the marinade.
Cook The Paneer: Heat 1 tbsp of oil in a grill pan or regular pan. Place the marinated paneer strips and cook on medium heat until they turn golden brown and slightly charred on all sides. Set it aside.
Prepare The Tortilla Base: Slightly warm the tortilla wraps on a tawa or skillet for 30 seconds on each side to make them pliable. Spread a thin layer of mayonnaise or hung curd on the tortilla.
Add Sauce: Add mint chutney or chilli sauce for an added flavour.
Assemble The Wrap: Place a lettuce leaf in the center of the tortilla. Add a layer of grilled paneer strips. Top with sliced veggies like onion, bell peppers, and cucumbers. Sprinkle some shredded cheese if desired.
Roll The Wrap: Fold in the sides of the tortilla slightly, then roll it tightly from one end to the other. Use a toothpick or parchment paper to secure it if needed.
Grill: Place the rolled wrap on a grill pan or tawa. Grill for 1–2 minutes on each side until golden brown and crispy.
Serve: Cut the wrap in half diagonally and serve with mint chutney, ketchup, or any dip of your choice.
