  • 2 Piece Tomato (pureed)
  • 2 Piece Green Chillli
  • 1 Tablespoon Ginger-Garlic Paste
  • 1 Teaspoon Garam Masala
  • 1 Teaspoon Red Chilli Powder
  • 0.5 Teaspoon Cumin Powder
  • 2 Tablespoon Oil or Ghee
  • 2 Tablespoon Cream
  • Water
  • Salt
  • Lemon (optional)

Main Procedure

Step 1

Blanching Spinach: Boil water in a pot and add in the spinach leaves. Cook it for 2-3 minutes. Drain the water and immediately transfer it to cold water. Blend the spinach into smooth puree.

Step 2

Prepare Masala: Heat oil or ghee in a pan. Add in cumin seeds and wait till they splutter. Add in chopped onions and saute them till they are golden brown. Add ginger-garlic paste, tomato puree, and all the other masalas.

Step 3

Cook Spinach: Add the pureed spinach to the masala and cook for 5-7 minutes. Add water to adjust the consistency.

Step 4

Add Panner: Add in the paneer cubes. Simmer it for 5 minutes and allow the flavours to blend.

Step 5

Add Cream: Stir in the cream for an added flavour. You can also squeeze lemon to adjust the flavours.

Step 6

Serve: Sprinkle little garam masala and serve it hot. You can pair it with hot roti, rice, or naan.
