Ingredients
- 1 Cup Sabudana
- 2 Piece Potato (boiled, mashed)
- 0.5 Cup Peanuts (roasted, crushed)
- 2 Piece Green Chillies
- 1 Teaspoon Lemon Juice
- 1 Tablespoon Coriander (chopped)
- Sendha Namak
- Ghee
Main Procedure
Step 1
Wash sabudana properly and soak in just enough water to cover it. Leave for 4-5 hours or overnight until it turns soft.
Step 2
Once the sabudana turns soft, take a bowl, add soaked sabudana, mashed and boiled potatoes, crushed peanuts, green chillies, rock salt, and lemon juice in it. Mix everything well to form a dough.
Step 3
Divide the dough into equal portions. Grease a plastic sheet or banana leaf with ghee. Flatten each portion into thin circles. Make a small hole in centre.
Step 4
Heat a non-stick pan and add ghee to it. Place the flattened thalipeeth onto the pan. Cook on medium flame till its golden brown and crispy on both the sides.
Step 5
Enjoy hot sabudana thalipeeth with chilled curd or vrat-friendly green chutney.
