Ingredients
- 4 Piece FOR MERINGUE BASE: Egg Whites
- 1 Cup Caster Sugar
- 1 Teaspoon White Vinegar or Lemon Juice
- 1 Teaspoon Cornflour
- 1 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract
- 1 Cup FOR TOPPING: Heavy Cream
- 2 Tablespoon Powdered Sugar
- 1 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract
- Fresh Fruits (strawberries, kiwi, passionfruit, blueberries, etc.)
Main Procedure
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 150°C. Line a baking tray with parchment paper and draw 7-8 inch circle and flip the paper.
Step 2
Take a dry bowl and beat egg whites in it. Add sugar, one tablespoon at a time and beat it properly, till it dissolves.
Step 3
Add in the vinegar cornstrach, and vanilla extract and mix
Step 4
Spoon the meringue onto the parchment lined tray within the circle. Shape in into mound with slightly higher edges and a shallow centre.
Step 5
Reduce the oven temperature to 120°C and bake for 1 hour. Once done, turn off the over and let the Pavlova cool down.
Step 6
Slowly transfer the cooled meringue to serving plate. Top it with whipped cream and place fresh fruits on it.
