Ingredients
- 1 Cup Paneer
- 2 Piece Potato (boiled, mashed)
- 2 Tablespoon Cornflour
- 1 Tablespoon All Purpose Flour
- 1.5 Teaspoon Garam Masala
- 0.5 Teaspoon Red Chilli Powder
- 2 Tablespoon Oil or Ghee
- 1 Piece Onion (finely chopped)
- 1 Piece Tomato (pureed)
- 1 Teaspoon Ginger-Garlic Paste
- 1 Teaspoon Cumin Seeds
- 1 Tablespoon Kasuri Methi
- 1 Cup Fresh Cream
- Salt
- Water
Main Procedure
Take a bowl and add in grated paneer, mashed potatoes, cornflour, all purpose flour, garam masala, red chilli powder, and salt. Mix together and shape into small balls.
Heat oil in a deep pan and fry the koftas in it. Wait till the balls appear golden brown and crisp. Remove and set them aside on paper towels to drain oil.
Take another pan, heat oil or ghee in it. Add in cumin seeds. Once they start spluttering, add in onions and saute. Then, add ginger garlic paste.
Add in the tomato puree, coriander powder, cumin powder, and salt in the pan. Cook till the oil separates. Add kasuri methi and garam masala. Once done, add in the fresh cream and cook for about 8 minutes. Add water to adjust the gravy's consistency.
Once the gravy is ready add the fried koftas in it. Let them absorb the flavours and serve hot. You can serve it with naan, roti, or rice.
