Beverage International Coffee Day 2025: Know How To Prepare Iced Spanish Latte
If you’re someone who enjoys the perfect balance of strong coffee and sweet creaminess, the Iced Spanish Latte is bound to become a favourite. Here’s how you can prepare it at home.
Ingredients
- 30 Milliliter Condensed Milk
- 50 Milliliter Freshly Brewed Espresso Shot (100% Arabica, medium roast)
- 120 Milliliter Chilled Milk
- Ice Cubes
Main Procedure
Brew the Espresso: Prepare a fresh shot of espresso using medium-roast 100% Arabica beans. The medium roast ensures balanced flavours, not too acidic, not too bitter.
Mix with Condensed Milk: While the espresso is still hot, pour it into a mixing glass and add the condensed milk. Stir thoroughly until the condensed milk dissolves completely, creating a smooth, caramel-coloured base.
Add the Chilled Milk Pour in the cold milk to the espresso-condensed milk mixture. This step balances the richness with a refreshing creaminess.
Prepare the Glass: Fill a tall serving glass with ice cubes, then gently pour the latte mixture over the ice. This creates a beautiful layered look with coffee blending into milk.
Serve: Garnish with a dusting of cocoa powder, cinnamon, or a drizzle of caramel for an extra café-style touch. Serve immediately with a straw or long spoon.
