Ingredients
- 3 Cup Idli Batter
- 0.5 Cup Carrot or Pumpkin Puree
- 0.5 Cup Spinach Puree
- Salt
- Oil
Main Procedure
Step 1
Divide the idli batter into three equal parts.
Step 2
Then, mix the carrot or pumpkin batter into one portion for saffron colour.
Step 3
For green colour, mix the next portion with spinach puree.
Step 4
Lastly, leave one portion pure white.
Step 5
Grease the idli moulds with oil and pour in the green batter, followed by white batter, and lastly the saffron batter.
Step 6
Steam for 12–15 minutes until soft and cooked through.
Step 7
Once it turns soft and fluffy, serve it with your choice of chutney.
