- 4 Cup Cashew
- 2 Cup Sugar
- 2 Tablespoon Milk
- Water
- Silver varq for garnish (Optional)
Main Procedure
Step 1
Prepare Sugar Syrup: Take all of sugar, milk, and water as per requirement, in a non-stick pan and keep it on boiling. Remove any foam or scum that may rise on top. Keep cooking till the mixture attains multi-string consistency.
Step 2
Put the cashew nuts into a grinder jar and grind to make fine powder.
Step 3
Stir in Sugar syrup next, followed by cashew powder; mix well.
Step 4
Put the mixture on a plate, and while still warm, knead to form a soft dough.
Step 5
Spread the dough evenly in a greased mithai tray and smooth it with a rolling pin.
Step 6
Place the silver varq on the top of it and allow it to set for 30–40 minutes.
