Snack Golden Butter Cookies Recipe
Golden Butter Cookies are crispy and buttery with a melt in your mouth consistency. These easy cookies are perfect as tea time snacks or festive treats because of their rich and classic flavour.
Ingredients
- 1 Cup Unsalted Butter
- 90 Gram Powdered Sugar
- 1 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract
- 2 Cup All Purpose Flour
- 1 Pinch Salt
Main Procedure
Preheat the oven to 175°C and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
Take a bowl and mix the butter and sugar together. Keep on mixing till it becomes light and fluffy.
Add vanilla extract to the mixture and mix well.
Sift in the flour and salt and properly combine all the ingredients until it transforms into a soft dough.
Shape the dough into small balls and cut into desired shapes. You can flatten it using a fork or keep them rounded, according to your preference.
Place your cookies on the baking tray and make sure to leave space between each cookie.
Bake it for 12 to 15 minutes.
Let the tray cool down a bit, then take it out.
Once the cookies are properly cooled, you can sprinkle them with sugar, dip in melted chocolate, or enjoy them plain according to your taste.
