Ingredients
- 40 Gram White poppy seeds (soaked)
- 2 Gram Green chilli
- 3 Gram Ginger
- 5 Gram Fresh coriander
- 20 Gram Grated bottle gourd or boiled potato
- 2 Gram Sendha namak
- Groundnut oil/ghee (for frying)

Main Procedure
Step 1
Drain soaked poppy seeds and grind with ginger & chilli into a coarse paste.
Step 2
Add coriander, grated lauki/potato, and salt. Mix well.
Step 3
Shape into small flat vadas.
Step 4
Heat oil/ghee in a pan, shallow- or deep-fry until crisp and golden.
Step 5
Serve: Serve hot with vrat-friendly chutney or yogurt dip.
