Ingredients
- 2 Tablespoon Butter or Olive Oil
- 1 Piece Onion (small, finely chopped)
- 2 Piece Garlic Clove (minced)
- 500 Gram Mushroom (sliced)
- 3 Cup Vegetable Broth
- 1 Cup Heavy Cream
- 1 Tablespoon Flour (optional)
- 0.5 Teaspoon Thyme (dried)
- Salt
- Pepper
- Parsley
Main Procedure
Step 1
Take a large pot and melt better in it. Add in chopped onions and minced garlic cloves. Saute them until they're fragrant.
Step 2
Add in the mushroom slices and cook. Wait for them to release moisture and turn golden brown. Cook for about 10 minutes.
Step 3
Add in the flour and mix well. After this, pour the vegetable broth in it and add thyme. Simmer the soup for a while.
Step 4
If you like a smoother consistency, then you can use a blender and puree until it becomes creamy.
Step 5
Add in the heavy cream, salt, and pepper. Simmer for another 3-5 minutes.
Step 6
Garnish the soup with fresh parsley and serve it warm.
