Ingredients

  • 1 Piece Beetroot
  • 1.5 Cup Cooked Chickpeas
  • 2 Tablespoon Tahini
  • 2 Tablespoon Lemon Juice
  • 1 Piece Garlic Clove
  • 2 Tablespoon Cold Water
  • 2 Pinch Ground Cumin
  • Salt
  • Fresh Herbs

Main Procedure

Step 1

Roast or boil the beetroot until it's soft. Then, peel it and chop into cubes.

Step 2

Take a blender, and add boiled beetroot, boiled chickpeas, tahini, garlic, lemon juice, olive oil, and salt.

Step 3

Blend all the ingredients until it turns into a smooth paste.

Step 4

Taste your hummus and adjust the seasoning. Add in cumin to add warmth.

Step 5

Spoon the hummus into a bowl and drizzle little olive oil over it. Garnish it with sesame seeds, paprika, and herbs.
