The Vivo V40 boasts a stunning 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. With 1.07 billion colours, the screen is rich and vibrant.

The device houses a robust 5,500mAh battery, capable of lasting over a day with moderate usage and 5G connectivity.

The device runs on custom Funtouch OS 14 based on Android 14, offering a range of improvements including smoother performance, enhanced multitasking, and expanded personalisation options. Vivo commits to three years of Android OS updates and four years of security patches.

The Vivo V40 is available in three configurations: 8GB RAM + 128GB storage for Rs 34,999, 8GB RAM + 256GB storage for Rs 36,999 and 12GB RAM + 512GB storage for Rs 41,999. Pre-orders begin on August 7 through the company website, Flipkart and offline retailers, with sales commencing on August 19.

The device is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset, which promises fast performance.

The Vivo V40 weighs just 190 grams, but its body is prone to scratches and makes it a slippery phone.
