Tamil Nadu CM Stalin got down from his car on bustling Anna Salai to distribute masks for public on Tuesday.

The CM's move comes amid increasing Omicron threat in the state.

In an unexpected event, the CM made his convoy stop and then he identified people who were not wearing masks.

Later, he got down from his vehicle on the arterial Anna Salai.

Then he distributed the masks to each of them individually.

He was accompanied by TN Health Minister Ma Subramanian.

Both of them provided masks to people violating the Covid-19 norms.

After distributing the masks, he left to attend review meet with health officials to decide on Lockdown.
