Indian Navy's INS Kabra Accorded To Warm Welcome In Colombo — IN PICS

Indian Navys INS Kabra arrived at Colombo, Sri Lanka and was accorded a warm welcome by the Sri Lanka Navy.

The Indian Navy's Fast Attack Craft, INS Kabra arrived in Colombo on Monday, officials said that the visit was a port call meant for bilateral cooperation.

INS Kabra is a Car Nicobar class of high-speed offshore patrol vessel designed for high-speed patrolling duties. (Source: PTI)

During the port call, the Commanding Officer of INS Kabra called on Commander, Western Naval Area, Rear Admiral TSK Perera, the Indian Navy said in a statement. (Source: PIB)

The visit comes at a time when India is seeking to partner with its Indian Ocean neighbours even as it has increased warship deployment from the Arabian Sea to the Gulf of Aden. (Source: PTI)

In a presentation ceremony, essential spares and stores meant for the Sri Lanka Navy and Air Force were handed over by the ship. (Source: ANI)
