Jaane Jaan To Railway Men: Netflix's Most-Watched Indian Movies And Shows

Series and movies from India clocked over one billion views on Netflix in 2023 with Jaane Jaan the most-watched film and The Railway Men the most-watched series.

The report, titled "What We Watched: A Netflix Engagement Report", presented the streaming service's viewership data for the period of July to December 2023.

Sujoy Ghosh's 'Jaane Jaan' was the most watched movie on Netflix with 20.2 million views. It stars Kareena Kapoor Khan, Vijay Varma and Jaideep Ahlawat.

With 16.2 million views, Jawan was the second-most watched Indian movie.

Vishal Bhardwaj's 'Khufiya' starring Tabu, Wamiqa Gabi, Ali Fazal was at number three with 12.1 million views.

Pankaj Tripathi, Yami Gautam, Akshay Kumar starrer OMG 2 followed with 11.5 million views.

Anthology 'Lust Stories 2' is at fifth position with 9.2 million views.

Ayushmann Khurrana and Ananya Panday starrer Dream Girl 2 had 8.2 million views.

True-crime documentary 'Curry & Cyanide' followed Dream Girl 2 with 8.2 million views.

From the series that were launched on Netflix, "The Railway Men", starring Kay Kay Menon, Babil Khan and Divyenndu, turned out to be the top title with 10.6 million views.

Suvinder Vicky and Barun Sobti-starrer 'Kohraa' is at second position with 6.4 million views.

Raj and DK's series 'Gun and Gulaabs' too has 6.4 million views. The show stars Rajkummar Rao, Dulquer Salman among others.
