Navya is the daughter of Shweta Bachchan Nanda and businessman Nikhil Nanda. While she hails from one of Bollywood’s most legendary families — being the granddaughter of megastar Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan — Navya has carved a unique identity for herself outside of the entertainment industry.

She is a graduate of Fordham University in New York and is the founder of Project Naveli, a non-profit initiative aimed at promoting gender equality in India.
