The Kapoor family met PM Modi to invite him to the Raj Kapoor Film Festival, which celebrates the legendary actor-director’s 100th birth anniversary.

Kareena was joined by Saif Ali Khan, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Karisma Kapoor, and other family members, including Neetu Kapoor, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, and Aadar Jain.

Kareena shared heartfelt pictures from the meeting and expressed gratitude to PM Modi for his warmth and support in commemorating Raj Kapoor’s legacy.

The meeting was part of the celebrations for Raj Kapoor’s 100th birth anniversary on December 14, marking his timeless contribution to Indian cinema.

The festival, organized by PVR INOX Limited and the Film Heritage Foundation, will run from December 13-15 across 101 cinemas in 34 cities.

Iconic films such as Awara (1951), Shree 420 (1955), Sangam (1964), and Mera Naam Joker (1970) will be showcased during the festival.

The RK Film Festival will be one of the largest retrospectives of Raj Kapoor’s work, allowing audiences to relive his visionary filmmaking on the big screen.

A notable moment from the meeting was PM Modi personally signing an autograph for Taimur and Jeh, addressing them as "Tim and Jeh," which drew widespread attention.

The visit highlighted the Kapoor family's unity and commitment to preserving Raj Kapoor's cinematic legacy, ensuring it continues to inspire generations.
