"13-year-old D.J. Daniel was diagnosed with brain cancer and given five months to live — and that was six years ago. Since then, D.J. and his dad have been on a quest to make his dream come true — and tonight, President Trump made him an honorary member of the Secret Service," the Rapid Response 47 said in a post on X.

Trump also said he signed an executive order renaming a wildlife refuge for a 12-year-old girl from Houston who prosecutors say was killed by two Venezuelan men in the country illegally.
Jocelyn Nungaray's death was one of several cases last year that became flashpoints in the immigration debate. Two Venezuelan men who entered the US illegally have been charged with capital murder. Her mother was present at Trump's address to Congress in the House chamber.
