Viral Sach: ISIS morphing women’s WhatsApp profile pictures with obscene photos?

A message is going viral that says Delhi Police Commissioner is saying that women should remove their photos from WhatsApp profile photo section as their photos could be morphed with indecent pictures. According to the message, ISIS hackers had WhatsApp numbers and they were morphing images of women with images of naked women. So, women must not keep the photograph for more than 20-25 days. WhatsApp CEO has made the appeal, according to the message. It is also being claimed that WhatsApp engineers would help people. And the message has been claimed to come from Police Commissioner AK Mittal. We contacted Delhi Police and AK Mittal. We found that AK Mittal is IG in NIA. He is not a police commissioner. IPS Mittal knows about the message but said he had not issued it. The message is false.
